We are serious about keeping kids safe. In addition to safe facilities, background checks for all volunteers, and striving to ensure adequate adult to child ratios, we have recently implemented an electronic check-in system.
Following are some tips for checking your children into class:
- Arrive early - we begin checking kids into classrooms 15 minutes prior to the beginning of service.
- You can check all of your children in at one station, and then escort them to their classrooms.
- If you are checking in an infant, please do so in the nursery as parents of infants are provided with pagers.
- At 10 minutes after the hour we will begin our ministry time with kids. If arriving after this time, you will need to check all children in at the central registration area located upstairs just outside "The Big Room" before taking them to their class. Nursery registration is available throughout the service.
- Please clearly label your younger child's belongings.
- You will be given a "parent ticket" for each child you check in. If your child needs you during the service, the number on the parent ticket will be displayed on the electronic display at the front of the church. Parents with infants will be paged.
- You must present your parent ticket and/or pager to pick up your child.
Wellness Policy
To ensure the health of children and staff, we ask that sick children not attend Great Adventures. CDs of the teaching portion of the service are available through the church office.
