Infant Nursery (0 - 23 months) Main Floor
Our Infant Nursery serves children from birth thru 23 months of age. Children experience God's love while they play in a safe and clean environment. Parents are provided with pagers should their child need them during the service.
Early Childhood (Toddler thru Kindergarten)
While this age group is divided into classes that reflect their developmental levels, all of our Early Childhood classes focus on the same theme each month..
We are using an incredible curriculum,"My First Look" in our Early Childhood areas. Using a large group/small group format, each week is full of objects for kids to touch, wiggly activities to get them moving, crafts they will love getting into, and real life situations they can relate to.
"My First Look" uses several key strategies:
- Teach less for more - repeats one key truth (Bottom Line) all month long.
- Engage the five senses - Helps master the concepts through creative activities.
- Teach with the end in mind - Helps a child by age five, to believe:
1. God Made Me
2. God Loves Me
3. Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever
- Experience worship - encourages children to talk to God any time, any place.
- Connect at home - Provides parents with ideas for conversation with their child at home.
Elementary (1st - 5th grade)
Our Elementary age is broken down into a 1st -3rd grade group, and a 4th - 5th grade group called "Powerseekers". Lessons are created to reflect the developmental levels of each group.
252 Basics is the curriculum used in our elementary classrooms. It is built around three Basic Truths every child should embrace according to what Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52.
