This is meant to tell you a little bit more about what you'll find at each of our Sunday services held at our 40th Avenue campus of Yakima Foursquare Church.

Kids of all ages experience that life with Jesus is a Great Adventure in our children’s and Anthem youth ministries during every service in age-appropriate ways and rooms throughout the building.  We do our best to keep our first and second services in a similar format. No matter what service you attend, we hope your family will have a fantastic experience!

Sundays at 9:00 & 10:30 AM

JR. HIGH (Grades 6-8)

Sundays at 9:00 & 10:30 AM

Anthem Jr. High also meets Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM along with our Anthem High School ministry.

When you attend our 40th Avenue, Yakima Foursquare campus, you can expect to experience the following:

Worship is the act of giving God the honor and praise we believe He deserves. One of the ways we do that is through the form of music. During this portion of the service, most people will stand during the songs, sing along, and some might raise their hands; you are welcome to participate or stay seated if you prefer. We will also display the words on the screens so you can follow along if the songs are new to you.

We believe that prayer is the act of communicating with God. Therefore, throughout the service there will be periods when we pause to pray. After each service, a group of committed people will stand towards the front of the stage and are available to pray with you about anything. Because we believe in the power of prayer, we encourage you to take advantage of the prayer team to discuss and pray about any issues you may be facing.

On the first Sunday of each month we receive communion. Communion is symbolic of the price Jesus paid for our sins by His death on the cross. It is a time to remember that because Jesus died and rose again, we are able to be in relationship with God. Bread and juice will be distributed in trays by our ushers, and can be taken at your own pace.

Tithes & Offerings

Every Sunday, offering plates are passed along each row, and those who call Yakima Foursquare Church their home church are able place their financial tithe and offerings in these plates as an act of obedience and a way of expressing gratitude to God for His blessings. If you are our guest, please do not feel obligated to give anything.

A member of our teaching team will share a brief message that is part of the current sermon series. This message will be based off of Scripture and sometimes utilizes an additional resource. At the end of each message, the opportunity for anyone to receive Jesus as their personal Savior is given, which can be signified by simply raising your hand.
